American Trench socks are knit in factories all across America.
The Hickory region of North Carolina is home to a family owned knitting mill operating at the same location for over thirty years. The Hickory region has been a concentrated center for hosiery knitting mills, yarn spinning companies, and dye houses stretching back to the 1930s and 40s.
Another is a hosiery factory in Reading, PA that has been at the same location for close to forty years. The factory is now seven times larger than its original footprint and is the last remaining hosiery mill in the Reading area, which was once a regional center for knit wear goods.
